What a night! On June 14, 2025, 1,600 Bay savers rocked out in nature's greatest music venue at Bands in the Sand. With the Chesapeake Bay acting as a gracious host, concertgoers had plenty of reasons to celebrate. In one night of great music, delicious food, and good friends, we raised nearly half-a-million dollars towards saving the Bay! Thank you to all the sponsors, guests, volunteers, and vendors who made this event such a success.

Bands in the Sand is one of the region's most beloved annual traditions. Where else can you find such a unique combination of live music, refreshing drinks, and local cuisine all around a beachfront stage? Bands in the Sand is always a great time, and everyone in attendance understood the event's greater purpose. The money raised through the festivities helps support the Chesapeake Bay Foundation and our efforts to achieve clean water and a healthy environment for all our neighbors in the Bay's watershed.
